Anan Yousef Al-Deek, a student of strategic planning and fundraising from Faculty of Graduate Studies of Arab American University in Ramallah, discussed his Master's thesis entitled "The Possibilities and Challenges of the Palestinian of Israel in Building the Palestinian Economy"
The researcher studied the economic possibilities of Palestinians of Israel, specially their experience gained from the Israeli market, the abundance of capital, and the challenges faced by the Palestinians in the 48 territories in building the Palestinian economy from the bureaucracy of the Palestinian laws, the lack of knowledge of the investment environment, the opportunities available in the State of Palestine, the Possibilities of entering to the Arab world through the Palestinian gate, and the cheap labor force comparing it with the Israeli market.
The researcher Esra Riyad Mohammed Aqel, a student of strategic planning at faculty of Graduate studies in the University at Ramallah, discussed her master degree thesis entitled "The implications of strategic planning in the Palestinian security sector: from the point of view of officers working in the sector.
The researcher targeted in here study how to implement the united strategic plan in the security sector and recommended in her research to make action plans, follow up and evaluate the strategic plans of the security services and strengthen the concept of strategic planning in the security sector. At the end of the discussion, the committee created from the her supervisor and the head of the committee, Prof. Dr. Ayman Yousef, the second supervisor Dr. Mahmoud Manasera, the internal examiner from Arab American University, Dr.
Researcher Loay Mohammed Al-Aridi, a student in the strategic planning and fundraising program at the Arab American University Faculty of Graduate Studies, defended his master's thesis entitled “Developing Hotels Risk Plan in Palestine”.
The researcher addressed two issues: hotels risks in information technology and human resources. He recommended all hotels to have risk plan and organize workshops to all working hotels in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and strategic planners.
By the end, the committee of thesis supervisor and head of committee Dr. Sharif Abu Karsh, AAUJ internal examiner Dr. Majeed Mansour and external examiner from An-Najah University Dr. Jafar Abahra, decided to give Loay Al-Aridi a master degree.
