The researcher, Duaa Jamil Qasem Al-Deek, a student specialized in Strategic Planning and Fundraising at the Faculty of Graduate Studies of the University's Ramallah Campus, defended her Master degree thesis entitled “Social Responsibility of The Operating Banks in Palestine and its Relationship to Profitability.”
In her thesis, she pointed to who much banks apply social responsibility, its relation to profitability and planning mechanisms. Stressing the importance of the positive relationship between the social responsibility and the working banks’ profitability with their commitment to imply it.
President of the Arab American University Prof. Dr. Ali Zidan Abu Zuhri and President of Al-Najah University Prof. Dr. Maher Natsheh received the Contemporary Public Relations Master Program accreditation from the Minister of Higher Education Dr. Sabri Mamdouh Saidam at an official ceremony held at the Ministry's headquarters, in presence of the Undersecretary of Higher Education Affairs Dr. Ehab Al-Qabaj, and the Arab American University Board of Directors Academic Advisor Prof. Dr. Waleed Deeb.
During the ceremony, Saidam stressed that this specialization accreditation will help achieving quality service for the two universities students, along with those who will join it from various official and civil institutions. It will ensure improving the public relations in Palestine as it includes several specialized knowledge that’s consistent with the field’s current developments globally.

The researcher Mohammed Soboh Musa Abu-Shamsieh, a student in the strategic planning and fundraising program, defended his thesis entitled “Determinants Of The Profits Distribution Policy In Public Shareholding Companies, A Case Study from the Palestine Exchange”.
The thesis aimed to identify the most important influencing factors on the profits distributing policy to non-financial companies in the Palestine Exchange and distributing profits to benefit from achieving further growth in the Palestinian market.
