The Arab American University allocated scholarships for the Bedouin gatherings at Al-Khan Al-Ahmar area east to Jerusalem, who are threatened with demolition and being exiled from their lands by the Israeli occupation.
“The Chairman of the University Directors Board Dr. Yousef Asfour directions, 10 scholarships have been allocated to Bedouin community students at Al-Khan Al-Ahmar to enhance their determination and fortitude on the ground,” said the university president Prof. Dr. Ali Zidan Abu Zahri.
The Arab American University participated in the 2nd International Students Festival for Short Films, which was organized in the Tunisian Nabil city with participation of several Arab, European, and Asian countries.
The university participation is part of the student cultural exchange between Palestine and Tunisia under the auspices of the Ministries of Education and Higher education in both countries and under the supervision of the Arab American University President Prof. Dr. Ali Zidan Abu Zuhri and follow-up by Dean of the Faculty of Arts Dr. Marwan Abu-Rob and Chairman of Arabic Language and Media Dept. Dr. Mohamed Abu-Rob.
Arab American University President Prof. Dr. Ali Zidan Abu Zuhri gave full scholarship to student, Buthayna Ghanam, the first in high school’s literary branch on Palestinian level, with a 99.4% rate.
The University President, VP for Administrative and Financial Affairs Mr. Faleh Abu Arra, VP for Training and Community Service Dr. Nizam Diab, Dean of Admissions and Registration Dr. Hazem Khanfar, and president of the Student Union Council Ali Kameel, all welcomed the student.
