Activities started with the National Palestinian Anthem, reading some Quran, solidarity stand with prisoners in their dignity strike. Dean of Students Affairs Dr. Abdallah Wolwel gave the opening speech, representing the University President Prof. Dr. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri, expressing his appreciation for university administration efforts which pays great attention to guide students to choose their university majors by looking at what the university provides.

The opening ceremony included, President Representative Secretary General of the Presidency Mr. Al-Tayeb Abdul Rahim, with the guest of honor Martin Luther King Jr., Chairman of the University Board of Trustees Dr. Mohammad Shtaya, President of University Board of Directors Dr. Youssef Asfour, University President Dr. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri, AAUP founder President Dr. Waleed  Deeb, Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Ziad Abu Amr, Governor of Ramallah and Al-Bireh Province Dr. Laila Ghannam, Minister of Local Government Dr. Hussein Al-A'raj, Minister of Culture Dr.

Prof. Dr. Asia launched the ceremony with a speech where he congratulated the // honored students and the two faculties members, pointing that both the faculties decided to support the excellence and spread competition spirit among students, honor outstanding students annually. Explaining, the purpose of this celebration is to encourage students, support them and motivate the rest of the faculty students.

Preceded the lecture a meeting with the University President Prof. Dr. Ali Zeidan Abu Zuhri, who provided detailed explanation on the university, its establishment, academic programs, future plans, academic achievements, scientific research and community services.

The lecture launched by Acting Dean of the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences Dr. Abdel Basset Rabaiah speech welcoming the audience and stressing on the lecture importance to identify Islamic banks and its idea, especially the increasing demand on them locally and globally.
