The Dean of Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at Arab American University, Dr. Mohammad Hamarsheh, and the Chairman of Dimensions Group Co., Mr. Hassan Qasem, signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation between the two parties.
The Dean of Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology Dr. Hamarsheh said that this memorandum will contribute the process of building and developing academic programs at the faculty and bridging the gap between the academic and private sectors by linking academic program objectives to the needs of local, regional and international markets. As well as developing competencies and skills in information technology and related systems.
Arab American University hosted the expert in human development and institutional development Dr. Montaser Khater in a lecture organized by the Office of the Vice President for Community Affairs entitled "Efficiency Assurance in Educational and Training Programs in Institutions".
The lecture was opened by the Vice President for Community Affairs Dr. Iyad Delbeh with a welcoming speech for the guest and attendance. As he pointed out that the university hosts experts and specialists to transfer their practical experiences to students, in order to benefit from their practical life. He explained that Dr.
Hasib Al Sabbagh Center for Information Technology Excellence at Arab American University completed the second phase of a workshop titled "Building Block Chain Using Go Language", with the partnership of the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at the university and the club "GDG Jenin", where the workshop targeted more than fifty students and graduates, while the first phase was hosted by the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology.
The workshop was hosted by Fadi Karakba, IT Officer at GBooking company that’s specialized in electronic solutions for organizing reservations in Russia. Where Mr. Fadi discussed many following topics: Basic prototype, Concept of miners the Proof-of-work, Transactions & Intro to server side development "using nodeJS and MongoDB.
