Under the cooperation with Jawwal Company, the university chose 20 students from the interviews that were arranged with students who applied to participate at the training program “Ana Jawwal” under the motto “Be ready to Challenge”.
This training program aims to richen the experiences of the students by making them go through many experiments with specialties from the company. This will give students the chance to put some promotional plans and to implement them at the university and the local community.

Professor AbuMwais commenced the first Applied Medical and Biological Sciences Conference that was organized under the cooperation between the University and the Ministry of Health. This conference aimed to develop knowledge in the Medical and Biological Sciences in order to serve the community by gathering the Palestinian researchers.

The Vice-president for Planning and Development Dr. Osama Salameh organized a workshop that was targeted to the University employees about “how to write researches by using LaTeX Program”.
This workshop aimed to spot light on the LaTeX program and to develop the employees’ skills on writing researches by using this program.

The Deanship of the Students Affair with cooperation with the Ministry of Culture organized a fair for the artist Sawsan Shhada under the name “Woman above Inferiority” as the paintings described the insistence of women on challenging the inferiority that the society sometimes reflect.

The Arab American University organized a symposium along with the German Academic Exchange Services to define the scholarships that DAAD provide for students to continue their study at the German Universities.
During the symposium, the manager of DAAD Dr. Carstin Walbinz explained the mechanism for the provided scholarships, as those scholarships are for graduate students with high GPA and who are expected to graduate with masters’ degree from German Universities. He also clarified the mechanism to apply for the faculty to continue their PhD at the German Universities.

The Arabic Language and Media Department at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at the Arab American University hosted a delegation from Birzeit University- the Media Development Centre, who visited the university to arrange a lecture for the students of the department.
The Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences Dr. Mohammad AbuSamra asserted on the importance of the Palestinian Media that transfers the Palestinian message to the world especially under the continuous Israeli practices for over 60 years.

استضافت هيئة تشجيع الاستثمار الفلسطينية مجموعة من الطلبة الفلسطينيين في جامعة إنديانا الأمريكية/ الجامعة العربية الأمريكية في جنين، تخصص ماجستير في إدارة الأعمال التنفيذية (EMBA) في مقرها  الكائن في رام الله.
وعرض الرئيس التنفيذي للهيئة هيثم الوحيدي النشاطات التي تقوم بها الهيئة لتشجيع المستثمرين المحليين والاقليميين نحو جذب الاستثمار في القطاعات الواعده في فلسطين.
وشدد على أهمية الشراكه بين جميع مكونات المجتمع الفلسطيني وعلى رأسها التوأمة مع مؤسسات البحث العلمي والجامعات نحو بناء بيئة استثمارية ممكنه للأعمال وجاذبه للاستثمارات.

The university organized a political symposium and a fair to celebrate the 13th Commemoration for the Battle of Jenin, where the fair contained lay-figures and photographs by Artists from Jenin who described the battle, the pain and the victory through their art works.
The fair contained 36 paintings and a photography corner that reflected live images from the heart of Jenin Camp during the battle. The pictures showed the fighters, the martyrs, the prisoners and the destroyed places that the battle caused.
