Dr. Yousef Asfour- the head of the Board of Directors at the Arab American University honoured the Palestinian and the Yemen soccer teams for juniors, to assert that the university supports all kinds of sports, after the hosting of the Yemen team at the University among the Asian qualifiers for juniors.
The Arab American University received a delegation from the International Finance Corporation of the International Bank who visited the university to discuss means of cooperation in building services facilities for students and the local community.
Professor Ali Zaidan AbuZuhri, the President of the Arab American University discussed means of cooperation with the head of the police department of Jenin’s city Colonel Huqouqi Ali AlQemari. The cooperation will concentrate on providing security to students and organize the traffic around the university especially as the structural development is increasing rapidly.
Professor Ali AbuZuhri signed a collaboration agreement with the American institution for anti-Corruption that was represented by the technical director at the middle-east and Africa Mr. Mike Masoud. The agreement aims to enhance the student’s role to prevent them from the corruption through giving them courses with field work to spread awareness between students and academics. This will help them in being messengers to change and build a new culture. The agreement also includes many training courses and activities for the private and public local community institutions.
The delegation consisted of Maureen Marroum Bajali- Cultural Affairs Specialist for Exchanges and Gina Cabrera- Farraj -Assistant Cultural Affairs Officer. They met Dr. Yousef Asfour – the Chairman of the Board of Directors along with Prof. Waleed Deeb – the Academic Advisor to the Board and Dr. Abdel-Rahman Abu-Labdeh- the Dean of the Graduate Studies. The visiting delegation introduced number of programs offered by the USA government that aims at helping faculty members develop their skills and knowledge and helps academic institutions improve their academic programs.
General Jebril Al-Rjoub, the head of the Palestinian Football Federation announced that the Asian Football Confederation has agreed formally on considering the International Stadium of the Arab American University as a place to host all the championships and the international and continents games, and asserted that this is a great achievement to the Palestinian sports and the universities sports and that is a step forward to establishing a national sport.
Professor Mahmoud AbuMwais received a delegation from the Turkish municipality “Bndik” who visited the university to discuss ways of cooperation between the two parties. Professor AbuMwais gave a detailed explanation about the university indicating all the specialities that suits the needs of the labour market. He also asserted on the deep relations between the Palestinian and Turkish people.

She's some 5,900 miles away in one of the most dangerous and politically contentious regions of the world.
Soudah is one of 43 students who will earn a master's degree in business administration in August as part of IUP's first graduating class at its offshore campus in the West Bank.
The University discussed means of cooperation with the Medicare Medipal Labs in the Medical Laboratory Science field and in training students and employing the best of them and also in the possibility of experiences exchange.
